GREENWICH SOCCER ASSOCIATION TRAVEL SYSTEM
The Greenwich Soccer Association (GSA) areas travel teams to participate in League Enjoy arranged by the south-west District which is in Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA). It's a two season (Fall and Spring) program. A full commitment is necessary from both players and moms and dads. The number of groups fielded in each age bracket is based mostly on the wide range of skilled players who tryout. The coaching administrators, mentors and outside football experts evaluate people for groups during yearly tryouts held in May of each year. People must try for the staff and become invited to participate.
Methods - you will find four scheduled practices each week, each player is anticipated to go to two methods but may go to all four when they elect to. Players should advise their particular mentors if they are unable to attend or be involved in a practice.
District League Games - groups will play an entire league schedule (usually 7-8 games as set by our CJSA District League commissioners) inside autumn and springtime periods. These games are typically played on Sunday afternoons, with makeup games planned on other days susceptible to industry access. Attendance is needed anyway games (except for disease or family members responsibilities).
Friendly Games - groups can play, at mentors discretion, additional non-league games.
Tournaments – GSA can pay for entry into two tournaments for every vacation group (one in Fall and something when you look at the Spring).
Mentors - GSA uses a professional advisor per team for many practices and all sorts of games.
